James Barber is the CIO (Chief Information Officer) for Oppenheimer Generations. He is involved in various aspects of digital and technology initiatives for each of the entities of the Oppenheimer Generation Community globally and is a member of the Custodian Executive Team. He provides input and advice across a full range of related technology domains including Strategy & Architecture, Enterprise Applications and Cyber Security.
Prior to joining the organisation James was part of Deloitte’s Technology Strategy practice advising a wide range of private and public sector clients across the UK, North America, Australia and South Africa specialising in the delivery of digital strategy and complex digital transformation programmes. He completed his integrated undergraduate and masters degree at Oxford University, graduating with 1st class honour in MEng Engineering, Economics & Management.
